Well I guess this marks the end of my bachelor’s truly, so this moment, the moment when I am having a cake while solo travelling in a train, is special, this moment deserves to be written about.

Most people would say their bachelor’s ended on 5th May 2026 (I’m not that good with dates), or probably end of May, when our results were announced. To me, who had his ideas developed from pop-culture, Bachelor’s was the best period of someone’s life and initially, I thought I couldn’t be more wrong about it. Going into ISI Bangalore (so called tier A), I was amazed to see - nothing. No proper infrastructure, no courts, no swimming pool, no rules, and overall, is still the smallest university camous I’ve been till date.

Journey
#

Initial resitance to Bhopal - IIT k messup - Sammy SN Bhatt offer - aritrabha and me planning - parents persuassion - the hot weather - the packing - missing my laptop charger and headphone - from RAC to CNF side lower - solo trip - morisaki bookshop - station approach meet iiserb student - auto share and night ride to campus - aritrabha meetup - dinner and late night walk (the amazement)

The bad phase (and a rushed decision)
#

Meeting prof with 1st proj - meeting co-intern - scheduling other meets - visits to the library - watching movie “Dead Poet’s Society” - loss of charger - the mood shift - IISC selection - the insta post - the depressed talks with Sammy - all time with Aritra - Shruti’s despair - taking too many projects - booking off tickets - worried about future.

The Good Phase
#

Meantime meal shift - from only Aritrabha to Aritra - met with some people, kUheli and Ayushi - sometimes have dinner with them - internal jokes - nescafe maggie - the contrast with IIT G - realised as we talked more with other people - the card group - the volleyball invitation - the awkwardness slowly goes away - nightime badminton and convo - other people of the group, sattu and Swati, and NIT Kuru (funny cause Har Katha Sangram ki is playing in bg) suicides dinner - charger delivered - and the plan started for Aritra’s b’day

The Better Phase
#

The changing point was probably the B’day plan - invitation to K and T and D (called Y) - extended to everyone - included even Shampoo in the plan - the order delivery dynamics - the group created - the surprise played out - the swiftie meetup - the UNO game and starting of a group. The next day - UNO meetup - The Rasgulla gift - the free treat - Entry of R - could see them in a reading group - FOMO - next lunch suggest Van vihar trip - random entry - joining the group - goes on to be better from now. After dinner plans to badminton - Random plans to SAnchi, Obsession, Ujjain - the spending bound over - Intro of M - meeting of other new people llike DHaram, Harshit - introduction of Mafia, Poker, COdenames - eagerly waiting everyday to complete dinner - even at dinner at wonderful convos with everyone - the talktime with family and Sammy went better - could see improvement in projects - teaching and learning new things everyday - sounding repetative probably but its true - the midsommer and discussion - had the best time in any internship ever (Should cover Ujjain specially - the planning - the aethism - general train journey - the tour - the return - sleeping) (Should alsocover a special section on the physics department - the ansh story in the start - his crush and weirdness to S - we started ignoring him - eventually understood. Specimen 2 - the weird intro - the school senior - the initial hate by Ayushi and everyone - the obsession with Aritra - seeing him everywhere even after ignoring - the long discussion about his cons while walk to hill - the big reveal of breakup - hate x100 - nanorods incident - intra department fight - reluctance at the name)

The Best Phase (Or probably worst?!)
#

It all started when there was 1 week remaining of my departure date - I knew I loved this group of people - bu that was the first time I realised what I meant to the group. Everyone was sad - and no one wanted to show it directly - I heard soo many compliments of me I started doubting their legitimacy - but then I saw their behavior - which was devoting their max time to me - the Mandir walk - the codenames - the politics discussion - the random Valorant plan - the trip to tekri - the stories - the last night game plan but disagreement - the final poker - the room convo or judging till late night - I got to know how much they cared - final closing bonds - the see off - the second reel - the hardest bye.
